Edgewater Joins AARP and Other Volunteers in the DC Area to Help Pack 1 Million Meals for Seniors in Need
The National Day of Service and Remembrance, celebrated on September 11th, is the culmination of efforts originally launched in 2002 to promote community service as an annual and forward-looking tribute to the 9/11 victims, survivors, and first-responders of the attacks. Edgewater understands that life doesn’t always go as planned — especially for the more than 10 million people over 50 years of age in the U.S. living in poverty.
