Edgewater on Winning Team as a Prime Contractor supporting NNSA
Edgewater, along with key small business teammates, was selected as one of three teams by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) for its new Information technology (IT) Infrastructure and Cyber Security Support Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The contract covers a wide spectrum of IT and Cyber Security support for NNSA’s Office of Information Management and has an estimated value of $250 million spanning five years.
Edgewater wins O&M Contract in Carlsbad, NM
Edgewater was awarded a five-year contract to provide IT services/solutions in support of the Department of Energy, Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) program mission. WIPP is a deep geologic repository (2,150 feet underground) designed for the safe, permanent disposal of transuranic nuclear waste generated by defense activities. Under subcontract to the Nuclear Waste Partnership, LLC (NWP), the WIPP Manager & Operator, Edgewater supports 1,400 local/remote users providing them a full range of IT services including enterprise architecture design/development, capital planning, IT project management, IT security, configuration/change management, end-user support Infrastructure management, network and system administration, application development, data center management, network engineering, quality assurance program management and IT asset procurement and management. The WIPP is located near Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Edgewater successfully completes IV&V study for GPO
Edgewater recently completed a contract with the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) where we received the highest marks offered by GPO for our Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) for GPO’s Composition System Replacement (CSR) Program. When completed, the CSR will replace a 30 year old composition engine/system used for the composition of the majority of GPO’s congressional documents. Our certified SCRUM Master led the effort to evaluate the program’s use of the Agile Development process, ensuring that user needs are being met and system engineering discipline is being followed. We evaluated the project management, technical, and system/application areas associated with the implementation and deployment of the CSR, including costs, schedule, critical path issues, and risks. The findings and recommendations (including corrective actions) of our effort were reported to the OIG and GPO management. GPO stated that they would definitely use Edgewater again!
Edgewater praised for ATF support
Edgewater is receiving high praise for our Information Assurance support to the Department of Justice’s Office of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF). We are providing Strategic Program and Administrative Support, Security Assessment, Authorization, and Continuous Monitoring of systems (e.g., Human Resources, Law Enforcement, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs IT systems), Vulnerability Management, and Security Policy, Training, Awareness, and Compliance Support. Our ATF ISSO support helps provide a focal point for agency-wide IT governance and positively influences the outcome and effectiveness of the agencies overall IT infrastructure. We are assisting the ISSO to develop and maintain the agency-wide information assurance program, its information security policies, procedures, and control techniques as directed under FISMA.
As CTA Member, Edgewater a Winner on the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s (NRC) Global Infrastructure and Development Acquisition (GLINDA)
NRC’s GLINDA BPA includes six total awardees, two of which are small businesses. The BPA has a 6-year period of performance and an estimated value of $679 million. The BPA provides the NRC with a wide range of IT infrastructure and application operations, maintenance and modernization services.
Edgewater, joined with a team of key small businesses, awarded Consolidated Information Technology Task Order by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)
Under NNSA’s Blanket Purchase Agreement for Consolidated Information Technology and Cyber Security Support Services, this task order is to provide Information Technology (IT) services, as well as, incidental advisory and assistance services at Washington, DC, Germantown, MD, Albuquerque, NM, and Las Vegas, NV. The task Order is for a period of 1 year plus 4 year options. years.
Edgewater Federal Solutions, the lead for the Energy Research Alliance (ERA) team, is pleased to announce that our team is among those selected by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) for its new Omnibus Procurement 4 (EOP IV).
EOP IV is a five year IDIQ contract with a ceiling price of $285M. The scope covers a wide spectrum of support services including Program Management, Survey Operations, Energy Analysis and Modeling, Information Technology Support, Product/Service Development Production and Marketing, and Organizational Support for EIA.
Edgewater Continues 10+ years of Support to the Department of Energy (DOE), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO)
